WHO WE ARE
AC Metaxas & Associates is established as a consultancy for issues connected with radio frequency and microwave heating. Our customers can be re-assured that their problems are dealt with in the strictest confidence and out of the gaze of other industrial or academic colleagues.
The Director
of the company is Ricky Metaxas who was the head of the
Electricity
Utilisation Group (EUG) at the Engineering Department,
University of Cambridge, UK until September 2002. The EUG was established in
the early 1980's and dealt with the use of radio frequency and microwave energy
in industry, commerce and the domestic field. Since October
2002 Dr Metaxas has moved to St John’s College, Cambridge.
Prior to joining the Engineering Department at Cambridge in 1982, Dr Metaxas spent ten years in an industrial R&D establishment where he trouble-shooted for industry in the area of electroheat, and in particular on radio frequency and microwave energy utilisation. He has maintained very strong links with industry and has consulted a number of multinational companies in Europe and the USA.
Dr Metaxas has presented many keynote addresses and invited lectures world-wide and has published over 200 publications as well as two books:
