- Numerical modelling of a stratospheric tethered balloon system
- Aerodynamic stability of a streamlined tether cross-section
- Vibrations of cable-like systems
- Fluid structure interaction - aeroelasticity
- Applications include: Communications, meteorological monitoring, surveillance and geoengineering
