In the department, Dr Seffen lectures on the first year Structural Design Course, as well as coordinating it in the Michaelmas Term: he lectures on the second year Structures paper, and he is introducing the new fourth year module on Plate and Shell Structures. He is also an examiner for Parts IB and IIB. In College, he is Director of Studies to all Engineers.
